Galveston

Yesterday we went down to Galveston for the day.  For years we have been going down to where my parent’s have a time share.  There are benefits there – showers being one!!  And the kids expect ice cream from the store there afterwards.  But on a whim we went to Boliver instead.  None of the kids, expect Becca, could remember riding on a ferry.  So that was exciting!  The beaches were not that crowded – which I love.  Boliver looks so different than before the hurricane.  It’s amazing how much is just gone.  There are houses starting to spring up, but you see a lot of RVs parked on what used to be their foundation.

I kept looking at my kids all day.  They are my treasures.  We had a wonderful day!
