Beautiful Kentucky

The family wanted to see our great discovery!

So back to Brair Hill Park and then on to Long Run Park.  Beautiful season, beautiful places!  The air smells so great right now!

In other business…

First it was the invasion of the stink bugs, now it’s lady bugs.  I know which one I prefer!

The girls and their tea parties!

Our rose bush is loving this weather!            Joy and her doctor’s office

Saturday the big girls and I went to the Showcase of Schools – all of the middle schools and high schools display why you should come to their school.  Now we are more confused than before we went!  I asked Jessi what she wanted in a school.  She answered that she wants Klein.  That would be a bit of a commute!

In the Afternoon I went to a Tri-Stake Women’s Conference featuring Sister Carol Stevens of the General Relief Society Presidency.  It was a really nice time to listen and feel the Spirit.

Two posts ago I vented a bit about Brother’s Meningitis.  I’ve been so frustrated of late of what he has been robbed of.  I have prayed for Brother, for me, for the strength to do what I need to do for him, all of those good things.  But nothing has come answer wise.  Today at church we sang Hymn #220 in Sacrament and then again in Relief Society. Not a coincidence, a blessing to this soul.  It’s the fourth verse written and then sung directly for me.

Savior, may I love my brother

As I know thou lovest me,

Find in thee my strength, my beacon,

For thy servant I would be.

Savior, may I love my brother--

Lord, I would follow thee.

Love him as the Savior loves me, unconditionally and completely.  Seek my strength from my Savior.

Seek the Savior.  Learn of Him.  It’s a message I have been been receiving a lot lately.

Grateful for personal revelation to guide me through life!
