For extra credit for Bec’s history class, we made the short drive to the San Jacinto Monument. We picnicked in this lovely weather and then saw the battleship. We enjoyed our Sonic drinks immensely on the way home!
Jason loved the history. Becca was our personal tour guide. She pointed out things I would have missed – like the park road we were on is Park Road 1836. 1836 is the year Texas gained its independence. Fun!
