Lizzy, Joy and I were shopping today. A total stranger came up to me and apologized for interrupting. She had a question. I prepared myself to educate someone about Down syndrome. She asked if we lived in …….our neighborhood. Yes. Then she asked if someone took care of Joy for me during the day. Yes. She had recognized Joy from the pool. She then proceeded to tell me how wonderful Kris is with Joy. :) I trust Kris completely, but it’s always wonderful to hear that your children are safe and loved.
BTW – She is a mother of a special needs child herself, hence the radar. :)
