Our Week

Sunday – Since it was Father’s Day, Linda came over to spend time with us.  Fun family time!

Monday the girls left for Girl’s Camp – thanks Sister Chalk for picking them up!!  Linda brought over some clothes and Bella had a great time trying them all on!

Since we were down three children, the house was so quiet!!  Weird.  The rest of the week Lizzy and I were pretty bored.  What were we supposed to do with so few people at home?  Meals were weird – only six people at home.  Brother sure is cute though!

One day we went through the drive through at Chick-fil-A and grabbed a movie at Redbox.  Our big excitement for the day!

Joy still finds ways to have fun!     Alex loves this!  Swing him, Daddy!

Lizzy and I decided to try an outing – going to the park.  We lasted forty minutes before we couldn’t take the heat anymore.  My suggestion to the Texas Education Agency:  May we please have school vacation during the cool months, not during the furnace like summer?  Think of all the fun we could have if we didn’t have to stay indoors because of the horrid heat and humidity?

IMG_5408I am pretty spoiled with all of my big kids.  Between Becca who can drive and Sammi and Jessi who can babysit, I can get most things done.  But Lizzy is only ten and not old enough to babysit three babies!  She can’t drive either!  And Joy has been sick this week, which complicates things.  So to pick up some things up at the store, I ran to the bank, got some cash, and sent Lizzy in.  I figured if I ran into the store leaving four kids in the car it would be kinda bad, illegal, and all of that.  Lizzy was awesome – she got everything on my list!  Way to rise to the challenge little one!!

Therapy shots – Joy was so protective of Brother!  She didn’t want him to be disturbed or disrupted at all!  My little mama!  Bella talking away in speech!

Bella, Brother and I went to Hermann’s for pre-op for her upcoming surgery.  Going downtown is exhausting!

Love this!  A blanket from her Grandmas!!  Grannie Annie, Bella’s biological Grandmother sent the fabric and Grandma Ball finished it for her!!

She sleeps on the pillow Grandma Turpin made her.  She is surrounded by Grandmotherly love!

Joy – she wanted to help me cook.  We had to make sure that only Mama turns on the mixer.  Carrying all of her babies.
